Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) has added 10 April approximately 1.4 million tonnes of premium coking coal to the market with the launch of two new longwalls at its Pniówek mine. The new production areas are expected to boost JSW’s near-term output, strengthening supply for the steel industry amid rising demand. The high-quality coal is destined for both domestic and international customers, supporting JSW’s role as a key supplier in Europe’s metallurgical coal market. This move comes as part of the company’s broader plan to secure stable and efficient production across its core assets.
